A WEST Cumbrian man who was caught drug driving was banned for 18 months.
Jake William Corrie, 21, of Main Street in St Bees, pleaded guilty to a string of motoring offences when he appeared at the magistrates' court in Workington on Friday.
Corrie admitted taking a Ford Focus without the owner's consent and driving it on the A595 by the science park without insurance. He was found to have not less than 65ugl of cocaine in his blood, the limit being 10ugl, and 50ugl of methylenedioxymethamphetamine, the limit being 10ugl.
The offences took place on November 26.
As well as the ban, Corrie was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and costs of £85.
