A 21-YEAR-OLD woman has landed herself a court bill of nearly £200 for stealing chocolate and a canned drink valuing £4.38.

Bobbi Broughton appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court on Wednesday and admitted the charge.

The court ordered Broughton, of Pennine Way in Carlisle, to pay compensation of £2, told her to pay a surcharge of £30 to fund victim services, ordered her to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and fined her £80.

Broughton was caught on February 27 stealing a Creme Egg, a Turkish delight, a fruit and nut bar and a canned drink from WHSmith in Carlisle.
