A man has been banned from entering shops in Whitehaven town centre after stealing alcohol.
Daniel James Bullock, 28, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared at the magistrates’ court in Workington on Friday.
He stole a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey from the Asda store in Whitehaven on February 13.
Bullock was made the subject of a community order to complete rehabilitation activity and a criminal behaviour order to prevent him entering any shops on the Whitehaven Shopwatch scheme.
He was also fined £40 and ordered to pay £40 compensation and a £21 victim surcharge.
