The Magistrates' Court in Carlisle
A HARRABY man appeared in court charged with stealing four puffer jackets and some lingerie.
Kenneth Cadden, 46, of Argyll Drive, was sentenced at Carlisle's magistrates' court on Monday (MARCH 18).
He pleaded guilty to both stealing the puffer jackets worth £158 from M&S in English Street in Carlisle and stealing the lingerie worth £122 from Matalan in Carlisle.
Both offences took place on August 18 last year.
Cadden was fined £135, told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30, ordered to pay costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service and to pay compensation of £61.
