A WEST Cumbrian man was handed a curfew after he admitted begging.
James Richard Weaver, 39, appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Friday pleaded guilty to placing himself on Clay Street to beg. He also pleaded guilty to using violence to enter premises on the same street, knowing someone at that address was opposed to him entering. Both incidents happened on October 2.
Weaver, of Clay Street, Workington, was handed a four-week curfew. He must pay £50 compensation, £85 costs as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £84.99.
