TAP: Homes in Workington and Maryport were without water for 12 hours
UNITED Utilities are investigating issues with the water supply in Keswick.
The problem was reported to the water services company just after 7am.
A statement on the companies website said: "You may have noticed that the water is coming out of your tap slower than usual or may have gone off altogether.
"We have one of our inspectors looking into this at the moment and as soon as we know what the cause of the problem is we’ll let you know.
"We apologise for the trouble this may be causing and thank you for bearing with us."
