POLICE are investigating after the body of a man was found near the railway line in Carlisle.
Cumbria Police said his death is unexplained at this time and have launched an investigation.
A spokesman said: "Police can confirm the body of a male was found near the railway line at Eastern Way, Carlisle, shortly after 9.20am today.
"The death is unexplained at this time. Investigations are underway."
