A CARLISLE woman stole almost £400 of baby clothes from Debenhams.
Paula Louise Tunstall, of Cumberland Court, appeared at the magistrates' court in Carlisle on Monday charged with theft and breaching a court order, which prohibited her from entering any premises which is part of the Carlisle Shop Watch Scheme.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to both offences.
She lifted £398 of good from the Carlisle department store on Saturday.
The court imposed a 12-month community sentence which includes 40 hours unpaid work, a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and 20 rehabilitation requirement days.
Tunstall must also pay £85 courts costs and £85 to fund victim services.
