A Cumbrian man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after being pulled from his partly overturned car.
The incident took place just before 6am this morning, close to the Oakhurst roundabout near Cockermouth.
Two fire engines from west Cumbria were called to the scene to rescue the driver from his Vauxhall Corsa, which was resting on its side after a collision.
A Cumbria Police spokeswoman confirmed that the 35-year-old driver, from Whitehaven, was then arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
