An event for rural tourism businesses will be held later this month.
Aimed at businesses that are either setting out, or looking to grow an existing tourism business, the 2019 CLA Rural Tourism Seminar will feature experts to answer their queries and speakers including Gill Haigh, managing director of Cumbria Tourism, Nigel Wilkinson, of Windermere Lakes Cruises and Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership and Dr Charles Trotman, CLA senior rural business adviser and economist.
Tim Breitmeyer, president of CLA, the membership organisation for owners of land, property and business in rural England and Wales, will open and chair the event.
It takes place on Tuesday, March 26 at Rookin House Farm, Ullswater, from 10am.

Dorothy Fairburn, CLA director North, said: “Tourism is one of the main avenues by which landowners and farmers can diversify their businesses, and this event is geared towards those who want to establish a new tourism business and who want to grow.”
