A Cumbrian estate agent has welcomed a new member to its team.

Penrith Farmers and Kidd’s PLC has announced the appointment of Lynne Lancaster as its new head of estate agency.

Lynne lives in Carlisle with her husband and two sons.

She began her career in estate agency in 1989 at Tiffen King and Nicholson, initially in the commercial department and then the sales department.

In 1996 Lynne moved to Nottingham with her husband and worked as a valuer for Nottingham Property Services.

In 1999 they relocated back to Carlisle and Lynne worked for Cumberland Estate Agents, initially as a valuer then branch manager at their flagship office in Carlisle.

In 2015 Lynne managed the change in business direction of Cumberland Estate Agents and became the sales and lettings manager, overseeing 10 branches.

Lynne said: “I am excited to be joining PFK as head of estate agency.

"We have a fantastic team of people whose ethos is to make the buying or renting process as simple as possible, whilst providing a high level of customer service.

"I have every confidence that we can continue to build on our current success and be the people’s choice as an agent."

Outside of work Lynne enjoys the gym, travelling, walking and meeting with friends.
