A WOMAN who was cut from her car following a crash involving a bus on Botchergate, Carlisle, was not seriously injured, say police.
Fire engines from Carlisle East, Carlisle West and Longtown were called to the scene, following the accident outside Cumbria County Council's offices on Botchergate, at 5.15pm on Friday evening.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said today: "She had to be cut out of her car bus there was no serious injury."
Teams spent about 45 minutes at the scene, and used Holmatro cutting equipment to remove the 56-yaer-old woman from her silver Citroen car. Police closed the road following the incident, and diverted drivers away from the area.
