A 18-year-old who admitted causing criminal damage to NHS property has been landed with a court bill of £165.
Jamie Ramdin, of Greystone Road, Carlisle, admitted the offence when he appeared at the magistrates' court in Carlisle yesterday.
The court heard he had become frustrated following a mental health assessment at Portland House, in Portland Square, and when leaving the building he started shouting at staff and punched a plastic post box.
He was ordered to pay costs of £85, £50 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.
