MORE information about Carlisle's Roman bathhouse is due to be revealed next month.
The impressive remains were uncovered in the grounds of Carlisle Cricket Club last year.
The club is now set to host an illustrated talk on March 22 at 7.30pm to update member of the public on the progress on the project.
It will be led by archaeologist Kevin Mounsey, of Wardell Armstrong Archaeology, one of the leading figures in the dig which exposed artefacts and structures described as "Premier League" by experts.
A spokesman for Carlisle Cricket Club said: "There is likely to be surprise, even major, announcements on where the project goes next, with more volunteer diggers needed for a new examination of what exactly is beneath the old tennis club."
Doors will open at 7pm and there is a £2 entrance fee. Proceeds from the event will be donated to a local charity.
