Children from a youth group got a behind-the-scenes look at a Football League club.
Youngsters from Frizington Arlecdon Bandits youth group were guests at Blackpool FC’s EFL League One match against Walsall on Saturday.
The group travelled down to Bloomfield Road and were introduced to the players and staff preparing for the match before being given a tour of the pitch and facilities then enjoying food and drinks in the sponsors’ lounge.
They were also able to have their picture taken with club captain and former Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing.
Four lucky youngsters were picked to be mascots and walk out with the team.
The children watched the match from the executive seats and at half-time were treated to sandwiches and ice cream before watching the rest of the game then travelling home.
