The 20th edition of Silloth’s Vintage Rally takes places in June and the team behind it is looking for volunteers to help.

The rally takes place on Silloth Green, between the Silloth townscape and the seafront promenade.

The organisers are working hard to make sure there is something for all the family at the free event but need the help of volunteers.

Wendy Jameson, treasurer of Silloth Vintage Rally, said: “We need people for marshalling mainly, directing traffic and exhibitors. We need someone to be around to answer queries anyone has.”

It is hoped someone can volunteer for the full weekend, but Wendy would be grateful if people could spare even a couple of hours, saying the event would not be possible without the commitment and effort of its volunteers.

“It’s the 20th year so we’re hoping it will be a bumper year with more exhibitors and visitors than normal, so we are desperate for people to help manage it properly,” added Wendy.

Silloth Vintage Rally is taking place on June 8 and 9. To get involved contact the Silloth Vintage Rally Facebook page, through the website vintagerally.co.uk or alternatively email her info@vintagerally.co.uk.
