Businesses are signing up in their droves for our free digital seminars.

There are still some places left for the free sessions, organised by LOCALiQ, but firms are urged to sign up soon as places are filling up fast.

Aimed at local businesses, the seminars are for people who like to expand their digital knowledge and cut through the jargon of the online world.

Our experts will be on hand on Wednesday, February 6 at The Halston in Carlisle and Thursday, February 7 at Energus, Lillyhall.

They will give your business a free digital healthcheck and offer no obligation one-to-one advice about how to make the most of your online presence.

Newsquest Cumbria sales director Lee Taylor-Craddock said: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive response from the people who want to attend our digital seminars.

“A huge part of our role is being the go-to people for local businesses when it comes to online marketing and advertising.

“Our LOCALiQ brand enables us to have our finger on the pulse of the digital landscape, so we can advise businesses on the right route for them.

“This is purely an informative event and there is no sales element or obligation to buy.

“It is an ideal opportunity for people to come along and tap into our knowledge – we have the experience that can benefit local businesses.

“So come along, grab a coffee, meet the team and expand your digital marketing knowledge.”

Topics will include:

  • How the marketing landscape has changed
  • Setting realistic marketing objectives
  • Multi-channel marketing
  • Online display – getting it right
  • Social media – is it right for your business?

Each session lasts roughly 90 minutes and includes free tea and coffee.

The Carlisle seminars will be held on Wednesday, February 6 at The Halston at 10.30am and 2pm.
