Drivers using the main A66 in West Cumbria could face delays for the next two weeks while traffic lights are in place.

Highways England has announced that traffic lights will be used in the Cockermouth area while tree and hedge trimming work is carried out.

The lights are due to be in place on the eastbound carriageway between Fitz roundabout and Lamplugh Road roundabout.

They are expected to be used from 9am to 4pm each day until the work is complete.
