The victim of a serious assault was left with a fractured jaw after being attacked outside a Carlisle takeaway.
Police are continuing to investigate the offence which happened outside Top Stop, in Botchergate, at about 5am on Saturday, December 22.
Today, they issued an appeal for information.
A spokesman said: "The incident involved a man punching the victim to the face, causing a fracture to the lower jaw.
"The attacker is described as white, in his mid 20s, around 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, with short ginger/blonde hair and was wearing a grey jacket and jeans."
The victim was a man in his 30s.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have noticed anything suspicious to get in touch with PC 2654 Hunter on 101, quoting log 135, of January 10, 2019, or alternatively Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
