A WOMAN who was trapped in her car after it was in collision with a tractor was not seriously injured.
The crash happened at about 5.10pm yesterday between Kirkbride and Oulton and the road was blocked for sometime while emergency services dealt with the incident.
It involved a Hyundai, driven by a 58-year-old woman, and a tractor drive man a 20-year-old man.
Firefighters were called to the scene to cut the woman free and were in attendance for an hour and twenty minutes.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said two casualties were seen by ambulance crews with one being transported to hospital.
Police said this morning she did not suffer serious injuries.
