A MAN had been jailed for three months for an assault which saw him breach a suspended sentence.
Robin Mumberson, of Wetheral, near Carlisle, was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court yesterday, having previously admitting the offences at the city's magistrates' court.
The 40-year-old was sent to prison for three months because the assault triggered a suspended sentence he was subject to following an offence in 2016. He was given one month to run concurrently for the assault and was ordered to pay £500 compensation.
