A new brand producing industrial equipment has been launched by a Cumbrian engineering firm.

Tweddle Engineering launched new durable industrial equipment brand Duraquip in October, which will be based at their headquarters in Kirkbride.

It said Duraquip will become the ‘durable industrial equipment’ arm of Tweddle Engineering and specialise in designing and developing heavy-duty maintenance equipment.

“We already provide high quality bespoke plant and equipment so the creation of Duraquip is a logical addition to Tweddle Engineering,” said director Joe Watson.

It has also launched a new Duraquip e-commerce website.

The latest development for the company follows the success of Agriquip, launched in 2000, which is its specialist equipment arm for agriculture and farming.

“We are ambitious and want to replicate the success of Agriquip by growing the Duraquip brand over the coming years,” said Joe.
