Police are investigating after a quad bike and an off road bike were stolen from a village near Penrith.

They were taken from a property in Kings Meaburn, sometime between11.30pm on December 14 to 8am the following day.

A red Honda quad bike, with the registration PX65 CDF, and an off road bike with accessories were stolen.

It's believed access was gained from fields in the surrounding area.

Police wanted to remind members of the public to ensure that gates are closed and as secure as possible.
