Firefighters were called to a Workington factory after a blaze broke out on the site.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service's two Workington-based fire engines were sent to the report of a building fire at Iggesund on the A596 at Siddick.
It happened just before 11.40am on Saturday, December 15.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved wood chippings at the paperboard factory.
It was put out using a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
Fire crews were in attendance for about one hour and a half.
A spokesman for Iggesund said: "A small fire was detected in the material handling processes of the plant and extinguished quickly.
"Appropriately, the fire brigade responded to a call for assistance and were able to ensure that the fire had been thoroughly extinguished.
"We are investigating the cause of the fire and can confirm that all operations were able to continue once specified engineering checks had been conducted on the Sunday.”
