A Cumbrian telecommunications company has opened an office in Scotland as its business expands.

Carlisle-based telecommunications provider Online Systems has opened an office in Dumfries to accommodate its expanded local staff and growing number of customers in the Dumfries and Galloway area.

The company said the office will provide meeting space and ensure the current staff of five has room to grow.

Greg Morton, managing director said: “I’m really pleased to open our new Dumfries office –we've always found our customers appreciate being able to deal with someone locally and the new office will really help support the growth of our business in the area.”

Its customers in Dumfries and Galloway include Browns Food Group, James Gordon Engineering and Barbours Department Store.
