POLICE: Cumbria Police are appealing for information
One lane is closed on the M6 while emergency repairs are carried out.
The closure is in place on the southbound carriageway, on the slip road at J38 (Tebay).
Police officers closed the road shortly after 3.30pm.
The force says traffic is coping well as a result.
