Cumbria's Gritters are out in force tonight as temperatures are set to fall.
The county council's highways team were due to salt nearly 1,500 miles of road ahead of a cold snap.

Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing overnight and will struggle to top 2C throughout the day tomorrow.
It comes ahead of a weather warning for snow this weekend. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice which comes into force at midday on Saturday.
