A crash on the A66 earlier today left commuters stuck in traffic that trailed back to Appleby.
Police were called at approximately 7am this morning after a Fiat Punto left the road just after the Crackenthorpe junction.
They said the accident, which only involved one vehicle, left a 33-year-old man suffering minor injuries.
