ANOTHER new shop has opened in Carlisle in time for Christmas.

Jack Wills has transformed the former Next Childrenswear shop on English Street into a pop up store.

The preppy British clothing chain used to have a store in The Lanes Shopping Centre.

Selling a variety of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, this is the second pop up for the retailer in the city and bosses say they are hoping to have a successful Christmas.

The store will be open until after the new year.

Holly Woodhead, marketing manager at The Lanes Shopping Centre, said: “It’s great to have Jack Wills back in the city for Christmas.

“This adds to a number of new openings in recent months.”

Trespass opened in the former Starbucks unit on Scotch Street and last week fashion retailer New Look opened in its new premises in The Lanes.

City jeweller Beadle and Hill moved from Carlyle’s Court to Scotch Street last month.

Other pop-up shops include: Seasons; Calendar Club and Hawkins Bazaar.
