A West Cumbrian village school has been handed £1,200 for a space for pupil's reading time.
Numech, the Nuclear Manufacturing And Site Services donated the cash to Seaton Academy.
A spokesman for the company said: "The money has been donated to Seaton Academy at their Christmas lights switch-on, which all parents and children attended.
"The aim of the night was to raise money to replace the gazebo, which is placed at the bottom of their school yard and is used for reading time throughout the summer. The school was very grateful and really appreciated our visit."
