PLANS have been submitted for 27 new homes in Cockermouth.
Bob Slack has applied to Allerdale Council for outline planning permission for the houses and access on land near his home, The Fitz, on Low Road.
The application site adjoins The Laureates, an existing residential development.
"The western part of the site already benefits from an implemented outline and reserved
matters consents for 16 detached houses," states the application.
"Planning consent has been granted to remodel ground levels across the parkland,
immediately north of The Fitz, to enable the ground levels on the
triangular area, forming the western part the application site, to be
regraded to mitigate flood risks."
