Cockermouth Main Street
A man was punched in the face three times during an assault in Cockermouth.
It happened in Main Street at about 7.20pm on Saturday night.
Police have issued a description of the perpetrator.
He had ginger hair, facial stubble, was of medium build and about 5ft 9in tall.
He was wearing dark clothing.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
