EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on the A69 near Hexham on Friday.

The collision happened at around 11.30am on the westbound carriageway of the A69, on the approach to Hexham's Bridge End roundabout.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police closed one lane of the A69 heading westbound for several hours to allow recovery work to take place.
