Police are investigating after a thief or thieves stole - and then set fire to - a Suzuki car.
The car - a Suzuki SX4 GLX - was stolen yesterday from Low Burthwaite, Wreay.
It was then abandoned on the Thursby roundabout and set alight.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said that two members of the public stopped police to alert them of a man in his 30s was walking down A595 away from said location, heading towards Cardewlees.
Police are appealing for those members of the public, or others who may be able to help the police investigation, to contact them, quoting log 46 of November 11, 2018
