A MAN from Penrith has been banned from the road for two years after drink driving.
James Christopher Brighurst, 29, of Drovers Lane, Penrith, was found with 100 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath by officers on October 13. The legal limit is 35.
Brighurst pleaded guilty at Carlisle magistrates’ court on Tuesday and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 24 months.
He was also told to carry out 70 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
