THE University of Cumbria could have the youngest lecturer in the country - after employing a recent award-winning nursing graduate who has trained at the institution.
Zoe Butler, who won a national student nurse of the year award in 2017, has secured the new post of lecturer in assistant practitioners in health and social care.
Zoe, from Kendal, was 22 when she graduated, will continue to practise as a nurse and lecture. She will also continue to raise awareness of mental health issues and on Monday (OCT 15) is taking over the NHS @6CsLive Twitter account.
In the future, she also plans to complete an MA in Clinical Education.
