Firefighters were called to a truck blaze near Carlisle.
The HGV had stopped at Southwaite Services, on the M6 Northbound.
It happened at 10.41am yesterday.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the fire and a thermal imaging camera to ensure it hadn't spread.
