Plans for a seven flats, three terraced houses and a bungalow suitable for disabled people will be discussed by Allerdale council’s development panel on Tuesday.
Developer Sarb Rai and his architect Femi Santos attended a special meeting in April called by the town council.
They were able to hear neighbourhood concerns about over development, parking issues, traffic safety and a lack of privacy, all of which they said they would attempt to address.
As a result of that meeting the town council raised several concerns: The first was impact of over-development.
They were concerned about security if an existing wall. They also cited lack of parking, location of the entry of the properties
The development panel will meet in Workington at 1pm on Tuesday.
