THE world's longest-running Kiss tribute band are performing live in Carlisle at the end of the month.

Dressed to Kill will be the latest high-profile touring band to appear at The Brickyard, when they visit the venue on Friday August 31.

The four-piece band have played all over the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Japan since they formed in 1990, but this will be the first time that they’ve played in Cumbria.

Taking on Kiss’ 1982 Creatures of the Night-era look – arguably their golden era, known for more spikes, more glitz, and harder rock, and re-enacted by Kiss for their most recent world tours - Dressed to Kill deliver a near two-hour set of chart hits and classic tracks.

Expect to hear the anthemic Detroit Rock City, Crazy Crazy Nights, Deuce, and God Gave Rock 'n' Roll to You II, as well as some album cuts for the connoisseurs, like Magic Touch, from Kiss’ 1979 album Dynasty, or tracks from the Kiss solo albums.

It all makes for a stunning show, whether you’re a newbie, or dyed-in-the-wool.

The band has always looked to emulate Kiss in the finest detail – professionally made costumes and platform boots, perfecting sound-alike vocals, playing authentic instruments, and re-enacting all the trademark stage moves and mannerisms. Even the between-song stage talk is replicated to give the audience the full live experience, as heard on legendary albums Kiss Alive!, Alive II, and Alive III, but with all the visuals too.

The show at The Brickyard on Friday 31 starts at 8pm, and tickets are available from the venue and via
