Three staff are celebrating after marking a decade working in a north Cumbrian nursery school.

Anna Jackson, Amanda Lowis and Gillian Bell recently achieved the milestone – bringing the number of long-serving staff members at Stone Eden Nursery School to five.

David Farrell, owner of the Aglionby business and franchise director Hannah Farrell, presented the staff with certificates and champagne.

Anna and Gillian are level 4 qualified nursery nurses and are also accredited childcare assessors. Anna and Gillian work in the baby and toddler rooms within the nursery.

Amanda is a level 3 qualified nursery nurse and has a level 4 assessor’s qualification. She now operates within the Stone Eden Training division, working with the young apprentices.

Last year Sheila Houston, deputy operations director, and Jenn Moorhead, a level 3 qualified nursery nurse, also reached a decade of service.

This week also saw Stone Eden staff Dave Crossley, Pamela Anderson, Nicola Hurst, Gillian Bell and Anna Jackson complete their assessor qualification.

Dave Crossley, Stone Eden’s head chef, is now qualified to oversee the catering apprentice qualifications, while Pamela, Nicole, Gillian and Anna will be assisting with childcare apprentice training.

The employees’ achievements and qualifications will help support Stone Eden with their recent decision to franchise the nursery.
