At Millcroft Veterinary Group your pet’s health is as important to us as it is to you.

That is why we have a range of pet care plans - with monthly payments starting from just £9.30 - to give your dog or cat the best year-round treatment.

This isn’t pet insurance, this is a pet care plan that provides preventative health care all year round and includes the following benefits:

  • Full clinical examination of your pet twice a year
  • Annual booster vaccination
  • 12 months supply of worming treatments
  • 12 months supply of flea treatments
  • Great discounts on a range of services and products including neutering and dental work.

Give your pets the best care possible
Our plans are a convenient way of giving your pet the best care possible.
Clients on the Millcroft Pet Care Plan pay on average 10-15 per cent less for vaccinations, worming and flea treatments than those who pay as they go.

The plan is open to dogs or cats and joining couldn’t be simpler.

You choose the level of plan that’s right for your pet - either our silver plan which includes everything you need to give you peace of mind, or our comprehensive gold plan which offers further discounts on any consultations your pet might need throughout the year and discounts on our other services.

Whichever plan you choose, you spread the cost by monthly direct debit payments.

Vaccine amnesty for your pet
Up to date vaccinations are an essential part of your pet’s health care and protect your dog against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis and leptospirosis.
Following the great response to our April vaccine amnesty, we’ve extended it for May.
These canine conditions pose a real threat and we have seen confirmed cases in the area.
Parvovirus, for example, is a severe infection that presents with symptoms including:

  • Diarrhoea (often severe)
  • Vomiting
  • Fever
  • Lack of energy
  • Loss of appetite
  • Malaise (discomfort associated with illness)
  • Rapid weight loss

Convenient local surgeries
If your dog is unvaccinated, or it has been 18 months since their last vaccination, call us on 01900 826666 to take advantage of our vaccine amnesty offer.

Restart your dog’s vaccination regime with two injections a few weeks apart for the same price as a single booster.

Millcroft Veterinary Group has surgeries in Cockermouth, Workington, Maryport, Keswick and Egremont.
Remember, prevention is better than cure and the benefits of keeping up regular vaccinations for your dog ensures that your pet is protected throughout the year.
