THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NO.502024 IN THE PARISH OF ARNSIDE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 28 August 2018, and which became operative on I September 2018, to enable Cumbria County Council to carry out surfacing and drainage works to the slipway area leading to the beach ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that section of Footpath No.502024 in the Parish of Arnside from its junction with Redhills Road at Grid Ref: 345055 478204, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 173m to the end of the slipway at Grid Ref: 344924 478301
:has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary
of State for Transport until 31 August 2019.
A suitable alternative route for pedestrians to access the beach
will be signed and available via Footpath No.502025.
