The County Of Cumbria (Bridleway No.136005 In The Parish Of Waterhead) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians, Horses And Cyclists) Order 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 30 November 2021, which became operative on 6 December 2021, by reason of the likelihood of danger to the public and by reason of works being proposed to be executed thereon and near the road ("the Works"), and which would otherwise expire on 6 June 2022 : has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 6 June 2023. The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians, horses and cyclists from proceeding along an approx. 400m section of Bridleway No. 136005 at Gilsland Spa in the Parish of Waterhead, between Grid References: 363127 567958 and 363380 567955.

There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians, horses or cycles.
