THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NO. 106001 IN THE PARISH OF BURGH BY SANDS AND FOOTPATH NO. 134003 PARISH OF UPPER DENTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria County Council to carry out works to re-deck the footbridges ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of footpath:
1. An approx. 20m length of Public Footpath No. 106001 near Wormanby Farm in the Parish of Burgh by Sands between Grid References 333343 559117 and 333356 559130.

2. An approx. 145.5m section of Public Footpath No. 134003 near Gilsland in the Parish of Upper Denton between Grid References 363292 566161 and 363439 566208.

The Order will come into operation on 7 February 2022 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for 2 weeks.
