THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C4027 BOOTLE) [TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable BT Openreach to carry out utility works ("the Works), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour along that section of the C4027 Bootle from its junction with the U4276 extending in an overall north westerly direction for approx. 900m.
N.B. The 30 miles per hour speed restriction will operate where work is ongoing but the contractor's operatives and plant are not on site. It is required to protect road users passing through restricted width traffic lanes.
No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
