CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the street described In the Schedule hereto shall become a highway maintainable at the public expense by the Council (the Highway Authority) on the expiration of one month from the date of this Notice.
2. PROVIDED THAT the street shall not become a highway maintainable at the public expense if, within the said period, the owner of the street, or, if more than one, the majority in number of the owners thereof, by Notice to the Council object.
3. Any owner wishing to object should write to me at the address below or email
(quoting reference number S228/365) within one month of the date of this Notice.
4. Plans/details of the street are available to view on the Council's web-site using the following link: https^/
pavements/highways/notices.asp, and are also available for inspection at the office of Cumbria Highways, Joseph Noble Road, Lillyhall Industrial Estate, Workington, CAI44JH.
All that cycle track being approximately 1524m in length and nominally 2.5m in width, and forming part of the field on the landward side of the common land CL474 registered as the Seabanks and Foreshore of Oughterside and Allerby and Hayton and Mealo, adjacent to the B5300 road Allonby, Maryport Chief Legal Officer, Cumbria County Council, Cumbria House, 117 Botchergate, Carlisle, CAI IRD Dated the 15th day of October 2021
