THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA [VARIOUS ROADS, BARROW-IN-FURNESS) (CONSOLIDATION AND MINOR AMENDMENT OF TRAFFIC REGULATIONS) (ORDER 2001) VARIATION ORDER (N0.43) 20X

1. Cumbria Count/ Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Sections I, 2, 19,32,35,35A, 38, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53, 64 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.



Cumbria Count/ Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Sections I, 2, 19,32,35,35A, 38, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53, 64 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the proposed Order will be to remove the following existing restrictions on Bridge Road and Michaelson Road, Barrow-in-Furness, as part of the Barrow Active Travel Cycle Scheme: -



(i) "Limited Waiting Parking Place (At All Times), 2 hours, no return within 2 hours (permit holders exempt)"; (ii) "Long Term Parking Place (At All Times)"; and (iii) "Parking Place for Police (At All Times), and

replace them with "No Waiting At Any Time" restrictions as follows: -

(i) Bridge Road, Barrow-in-Furness, the south west side from its junction with Bridge Approach in a south easterly direction to its junction with Michaelson Road.



(ii) Michaelson Road, Barrow-in-Furness, the east side from its junction with Ramsden Dock Road to a point 90 metres north east of its junction with Buccleuch Dock Road.



(iii) Michaelson Road, Barrow-in-Furness, the west side from its junction with Ramsden Dock Road for a distance of 390 metres in a northerly direction.

3.
