THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C2019 GOODYHILLS, HOLME ST CUTHBERT AND C2052 SKIN BURN ESS ROAD, SILLOTH) [TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria Highways to carry out Highway Works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. C20I9 Good/hills, Holme St Cuthbert, from its junction with the C2013 extending in a south easterly direction for a distance ofapprox. I km.
Alternative Route: via the C20I3, B530I and C20I9. Duration: From 21 July 2021 for approx. 5 days.
2. C2052 Skinburness Road, Si I loth, from a point approx. 2.2km north west of its junction with the B5302 extending in a north westerly direction for a distance of approx. 250m. Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C2052 Skinburness Road and the B5302.
Duration: From 05 August 2021 for approx. 2 days.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained
at all times.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
(i) Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and
(ii) Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and
(iii)Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the road; and

The Order will come into operation on 21 July 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months, However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
