NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 2 March 2021 The Scottish Borders Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Paragraph? of Schedule 16 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act (the "Act") and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, confirmed, without modification, The Scottish Borders Council (DP85-1 Tweedbridge Court, Peebles) (Stopping Up) Order 2021 stopping up that section of road described in the Schedule below. A copy of the Order as confirmed and relative plan showing the section of road affected may be inspected at Roads Planning at Planning, Housing and Related Services, The Scottish Borders Council, Council Headquarters, Newtown St. Boswells during normal office hours and also at Contact Centre, High Street, Peebles during normal business hours when the offices are open, or can be seen on the Council's website at

The Order, as confirmed, comes into operation on 5 March 2021 being the date on which this Order is first publicised. Any person aggrieved by the Order may in accordance with the provisions of Section 238 of the Act, by application to the Court of Session within 6 weeks from 5 March 2021, question its validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by Part IX of the said Act or that their interests have been substantially prejudiced by a failure to comply with any requirement of the said Part IX or any regulation made thereunder.
