(Northgate, Peebles) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2021
The Scottish Borders Council (Northgate, Peebles) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 2 March 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 18:00. The Order is required for replacement of a defective manhole cover.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on both sides of Northgate, Peebles from Ushers Wynd to Ker Place. A map showing the restriction can be seen

The proposed development at Land West of Slipperfield House, Slipperfield Loch, West Linton is subject to assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017. Notice is hereby given that an environmental statement has been submitted to Scottish Borders Council by Dalgleish Associates Ltd relating to New Quarry for Sand and Gravel extraction at Land West Of Slipperfield House, Slipperfield Loch, West Linton
Possible decisions relating to the application are: -
(i) approval of the application without conditions
(ii) approval of the application with conditions
(iii) refusal of the application
